To access the Inbound Routes page, do the following:

  1. Login to your PBX Admin Portal.
    • i.e. customer.freevociepbx.com/maint
(replace customer with your system's actual subdomain)
  2. Go to PBX > PBX Setup > Inbound Routes/DIDs.

When creating a new Inbound Route, you will need to configure all of the following required information:

  1. Description - to identify what the route is being used for.
  2. DID Number - the phone number you are configuring the inbound route for.
  3. Destination - where you want your calls to initially route to in the call process.

The Destination configuration can be found at the bottom of the Inbound Route/DIDs template page, which you can choose among some of the following destinations (some require creating configurations for these features first before having access):

As you configure your Inbound Route's Destination, there will most likely be other destinations within the destination that you have chosen which you will need to configure for, until one of the destinations eventually reaches an endpoint (i.e. extension, voicemail, custom destination, fax recipient, conference room, etc.).

Once the settings have been configured, save the new Inbound Route (using S.A.C - Submit Changes, Apply Configuration Changes, Continue Reload).
