Parking Lot

Parking Lot allows you to put a call on hold on its own extension.
You can pick these calls back up from any extension by dialing the extension the call is parked on.
The User Portal has a parked call module to show/manage parked calls.

To access the Parking Lot page, do the following:

  1. Login to your PBX Admin Portal.
    • i.e.
      (replace customer with your system's actual subdomain)
  2. Go to PBX > PBX Setup > Parking Lot.

Parking Lot Options

Check the 'Enable Parking Lot Feature' to use this feature.
Select the extension your users will dial to to park a call.
Select the extension the first parked call will be parked on.
Choose how many additional extensions will be used to park calls after the Parking Lot Slot Start.
Select how long a call can be parked before they are routed to the Destination for Orphaned Parked Calls.
If checked, Enable Courtesy Beep will play a beep to the caller when a parked call is picked up.
You can then choose which Music On Hold category you would like to use for your Parking Lot.

Actions for Timed-Out Orphans

Parking Alert-Info - This feature can be used to create distinct rings on some SIP phones and can serve to alert recipients
For CallerID Prepend, you can enter a prefix here that will be shown when a parked call is connected to its Orphaned destination.
You can choose an optional audio recording via the Announcement drop box. This will be played to a caller before they are routed to the Destination for Orphaned Parked Calls.

Here you can set the destination the parked calls will go to when they time out.

Save any changes made. (using S.A.C - Submit, Apply, Continue)
