User Portal Settings is where you configure your users permissions for the User Portal.
To access the User Portal Settings page, do the following:
In Connected Users you will see the latest extension and connection information for your users.
Dashboard Server tells you if the dashboard server is in Up or Down status.
The Reset button will restart the dashboard. Restarting the dashboard is a common firs step if your dashboard is behaving abnormally.
On the right is a list of your extensions.
You can click on one of the extensions to configure the User Portal settings of that extension.
Allow Access is a required privilege, it allows the user to log into the User Portal.
The voicemail password is used as the login password for the User Portal.
Department and Location are fields to add information about the extension.
View Call History allows the user to view their call records.
View All Call History allows the user to view call records from all users.
View Call History User List allows this user to view call records from each of the users in this field. Ex: 100,101,102,104
View General Inbox allows the user to view the Fax General Inbox
Send Faxes allows the user to Send Faxes from the User Portal
System Phonebook View allows this user to access the System Phonebook.
System Phonebook Edit allows this user to add or edit entries in the System Phonebook
Personal Phonebook allows this user to have a Personal Phonebook
Allow Access is a required privilege, it allows the user to access the Dashboard.
Call Record allows the user to control call recording on the dashboard.
Parking Lot allows the use of the parking lot module.
Personal Conference Room allows the user access to the Personal Conference Room.
SMS allows the user to receive SMS Messages sent to the designated phone number.
Dashboard Contacts is where you configure which privileges this user has to manage other users.
Queue Permissions allow the user to view the selected queues from their user portal.
Allow the user to set their presence.
Set Note allows the user to set a note on their profile.
Allow the user to manage their profile.
Set Email allows the user to edit the e-mail in their profile.
Set Mobile allows the user to edit the mobile number in their profile.
Upload Photo allows the user to upload a photo to their profile.
Set Quote allows the user to set a quote for others to see.
Set DND allows the user to toggle DND from the User Portal.
Set Call Forward allows the user to set Call Forward from the User Portal.
Set Call Me Number allows the user to set the Call Me Number from the User Portal.
Call Me is the number used by the system to call the user for monitoring.
Allow API allows the user to access the API functions.
API Password should be a secure password
